DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]\nDARLINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE YOUTH DEER HUNT\nLYDIA COMMUNITY CENTER – 5069 INDIAN BRANCH ROAD LAMAR\, SC \nThe Darlington County Sheriff’s Office is hosting a Youth Deer Hunt for ages 17 years of age and younger.  This is a free event. \nThe event will begin at noon with a lunch\, followed by door prizes and games\, along with educational speakers.\nOnce this is concluded\, everyone will be dismissed for the hunt.  If you have your own land and stands\, you will hunt there. \nThere will be a limited number of stands for those that do not have land to hunt.  This will be on a first come basis. \nAnyone 17 years of age or younger may participate in the youth deer hunt.\n16- and 17-year-olds must have a valid South Carolina hunting license.\n15-year-olds and younger\, no license required- however must be accompanied by an adult 21 years or older. \nNo deer tags are required for this hunt. \nFor more information or to sign up for the event\, email: cmcinville@darlingtonsheriff.org.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”45px”][/vc_column][/vc_row]\nShare

SUMMARY:Municipal Court
DESCRIPTION:Established by Town Council\, Lamar Municipal Court is part of the South Carolina unified judicial system.  This unified system is under the order and authority of the South Carolina Supreme Court Chief Justice.   The Municipal Court has jurisdiction over cases arising under ordinances of the municipality\, and over all offenses which are subject to a fine not exceeding $500.00 or imprisonment not exceeding 30 days\, or both\, and which occur within the municipality. Most traffic offenses are processed in this court. \nJudge Craig L. La Cross presides over the court\, which is held the third Monday of each month beginning at 1:30 PM.
