LAMAR BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE TEAMS WITH SPAULDING MIDDLE SCHOOL BETA CLUB

The Town of Lamar Beautification Committee has partnered with Spaulding Middle School Beta Club.

The Beautification Committee and the Beta Club planted trees along Richard Robinson Way located near the Grooms Center.  There were approximately fifteen (15) students participating in their community service project.

Also in attendance were Ms. Kaywanna Bradley-Chairperson of the Beta Club, Ms. April McPherson-Co-Chairperson,  Mrs. Fran Knotts-Retired and Mrs. Inez B. Lee, Town of Lamar Councilwoman.

The students were reminded of why trees are important to the environment.  Afterwards, they enjoyed lunch at Main Street Café!

The Town of Lamar is grateful for the students that participated and looks forward to more activities in helping beautify our sweet town!
