Lamar Native and Licensed Professional Counselor, Kelvin Durant, is bringing a new resource to Town in July!

Many of you know him, born and raised in Lamar, Mr. Durant is opening a new practice in Lamar to help serve the citizens of Lamar, treat mental health issues and provide guidance and inspiration.  He is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Addictions Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor Candidate, and Board Certified Hypnotherapist within the state of South Carolina.

Mr. Durant has extensive experience treating individuals of all ages, from pre-adolescents to adults, using individual, couples and group therapy, treating an array of different metal health diagnoses.  Substance Abuse & Addictions, Depression & Anxiety, PTSD and other challenges, and Marriage & Couples Counseling – are areas he specializes in, helping to build firm foundations so you get the most out of life.  He is dedicated to showing concern for everyone’s wellbeing, spread positivity and encourage that all lives should be productive ones.

A New You Counseling Center, LLC, of Florence is located at 901 W. Evans Street.    Prior to his Lamar office opening in July, you may reach out to Mr. Durant at his Florence location.  Telehealth and in-office appointments are available.
