Lamar Library Park Dedication

Join us as we dedicate the Lamar Library Park in memory of Ethel Jane Reynolds.

From the time the yard around the “new” library was planned and established, Ethel Jane Reynolds was there. She immediately took on the role as proprietor. She loved it! It was her passion— flowers and trees. And, she knew the names of all of them. She worked every week to maintain its beauty and never gave up until in recent time her health failed.

Lamar appreciates the work and enthusiasm Ethel Jane Reynolds put into making Lamar Library Park the inviting and beautiful place it is.
