MEN’S HEALTH SYMPOSIUM
The Town of Lamar is so grateful to Genesis Health Care & Darlington County First Steps’ Men’s Health Collaborative for helping to host this one of a kind event for the Men of Lamar.
There was a great turn out at Town Hall on October 22, 2020. Gift cards were awarded and men were able to freely ask questions and gain valuable knowledge about their health management.
The Town plans to host more Men to Men events in the future. Our goal is to bring medically accurate information to the men of the community and encourage them to be more proactive in their health management.
With gracious help from members of the Genesis Health Care team, men were able to discuss issues specific to men’s health (such as Prostate Cancer and ED), as well as general information and health screening advice.
