Online Portal Access
YOU MAY NOW MAKE ONLINE PAYMENTS!
New users will be required to create an account to access Business License information.
- Please have these details ready: “Online Access Code” You may retrieve this from your renewal notice
- You may add additional licenses to your account by clicking “Link Your Account” on the menu at the top of the page
- Click on the application line or the “Pay” button to remit payment for your License renewal

Announcement & Options for Renewal:
The Town of Lamar, along with all municipalities in South Carolina, must now comply with the requirements of Act 176.
For the Business License year, all businesses will be on the same model as defined below.
All Businesses:
- Your Business License expires on April 30.
- Your Business License will be due on May 1.
You have two options to renew your business license tax online within the Town of Lamar.
- State Business License Portal: You must have a SSN or FEIN on file with the Town. Click here to access: https://www.localblrenewal.com/
- Town GovPossible Portal: You must have the “Online Access Code” from your renewal letter. Click here to access: https://sc-lamar-portal.govpossible.com/
You may also renew your business license in-person by visiting Lamar Town Hall at 117 Main St. Lamar, SC 29069
*New applicants must apply in-person at Lamar Town Hall.
